About

Monica was born and raised in Mexico City, where she pursued a career in Architecture at Universidad Iberoamericana. After working at TEN Arquitectos with Enique Norten for a year, she decided to continue her education in New York, completing a Masters Degree in Advanced Architectural Design at Columbia University. Her experience in various design/build firms after that, led her to create MWT Design, where she is founder and head designer today. The practice merges her love of design and art with a genuine interest in sustainability, the reuse of materials, development and integration with nature.
