The clients, a Japanese couple who are a team of hairdressers, found on Broome Street an ideal place to start their business. The space was modified to provide his/hers salon areas with common washing/restrooms. In honor to the origins of the area, the back of the space was made to feel like a speakeasy where haircutting takes place, but also provide a more intimate ambiance for the experience. MWT also designed the main furniture pieces.
