BIG IDEAS FOR SMALL LOTS

A competition for the city of New York, that proposed to use the lots owned by NYC to develop government housing and community areas on ground floor. The project focuses on bringing in light through a central patio, solving the common problem with NYC lots that arises with the long, narrow proportions of most of its lots. Integration of Passive house principles and sustainable principles like rain garden are also key.
